This week we’re excited to welcome Avery Schlicher, Conversocial’s new Director of Customer Success to our New York City office.
What’s your role and what are you going to be a part of here?
I’ve joined as Director of Customer Success, a role in which I’ll work closely with our customers to ensure that via Conversocial’s technology, their strategic goals and business objectives for customer service are met and exceeded. I’ll also be collaborating with our internal teams as we grow and evolve as a company.
What’s your average day at the office like?
While no two days are ever alike, it’s safe to bet that I’m chatting with customers, reviewing any product updates that have pushed, checking out any changes to the roadmap and reading up on the latest industry news and deals.
How would you like to see your role going forward?
As a direct line to clients, one of my main goals is to bring their feedback and recommendations directly to product development. The voices of our clients are some of the most accurate guides for how and when we develop aspects of the platform, and their influence is an invaluable resource.
What did you do before starting Conversocial?
Before Conversocial, I was a Senior Customer Success Manager at Salesforce Marketing Cloud, working with global brands to deploy and optimize the use of Marketing Cloud software. Prior to that, I was in a similar role at Buddy Media (which was acquired by Salesforce in 2012), which is where I cut my teeth in the technology and SaaS industry.
What are some of your hobbies and interests?
I love all things nature, art and literature, which cast a fairly wide net hobby-wise. I have a pretty awesome dog who loves people but hates rain, and sometimes I pretend that I like to cook, but I don’t really...I can order some mean take-out, though.
