Joshua March

Founder & CEO: Joshua March

Joshua founded Conversocial in 2009 based on his vision that online communication and customer service was undergoing a fundamental shift, requiring businesses to invest in new processes and technologies to manage the rapidly shifting social landscape.

A leading proponent of social media, Joshua previously founded leading social application company iPlatform, one of the worlds first Facebook Preferred Developers, which was acquired in 2012.  Having started his career in London, Joshua is now based in New York where he leads the US operations of Conversocial, as well as global strategy. 

CTO: Colin Howe

CTO: Colin Howe

Colin leads the development team and sets technical strategy at Conversocial.

Coding since the age of 9, Colin has broad technical experience, ranging from work as a consultant/engineer for an asset finance software company, an engineer on backbone routers and even a brief stint making his own startup. Colin graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in mathematics and computer science.

With more than 15 years’ experience including management roles held in sales and operations, Julian has a track record in building and leading successful sales organizations that deliver real value for customers of all sizes. Customer Care has always been an area of specific expertise throughout his career; Conversocial is the latest chapter as he helps lead adoption of the leading social customer service solution.

Head of Product: David Stobs-Stobart

David is the Head of Product at Conversocial. His area of interest is how organizations are personalizing the customer's experience.

The large volumes of offline and online customer data offer organizations a great opportunity to interact with their customers at scale. No where is this more urgent than in the fast growing area of social customer service. Following a career in Investment Banking, his more recent experience has been in growth-stage internet technology companies spanning B2B products in search, content optimisation, customer experience and analytics.

Chairman: Mike Hedger

Mike Hedger has a track record in building market-leading companies. Previously CEO of market leading email archiving company KVS from its inception in 1999 to its successful sale to Veritas for $225 million in 2004 (now Symantec Enterprise Vault).

His former experience includes four years as EVP worldwide operations at Forte, building the European business before moving to head up Worldwide Operations which culminated in a successful acquisition by Sun for $700 million. Mike's earlier career included positions as VP Marketing Operations EMEA for Oracle, Managing Director UK and Northern Europe for INGRES/ASK and successful sales careers at both WANG and IBM. Mike is also the chairman of Mimecast and eCommera.

Alliott Cole

Board Director: Alliott Cole

Alliott is a Principal in the Ventures team at Octopus, a firm with in excess of $5.4 billion under management.

Octopus backs businesses that are capable of creating, transforming or dominating an industry. Recent investments include Artesian Solutions, Calastone, graze.com, Kabbee, LoveFiLM, Secret Escapes, Swiftkey, YPlan, and Zoopla.

Scott Sage

Board Director: Scott Sage

Scott is based in the London office of DFJ Esprit, a Pan European VC firm with over $1 billion in assets under management.

Scott invests into mobile, consumer internet and enterprise software companies. He currently works with Lyst, SportPursuit, Conversocial, Datahug, Bitbar and TrustPilot. Previously, Scott worked in research, marketing, business development and finance roles at Dashboard Ventures, UBS, BVCA and Smarkets. He is also an active business angel and advisor to startups in Europe and North America and co-founded City Meets Tech in London. Scott graduated from Texas Tech University with a BBA in Finance.
